General Information

Q: What is Life360-Okoboji?

A: Life360-Okoboji is a Pentecostal/Assemblies of God church plant serving the Iowa Great Lakes region. Our primary focus is the planting of churches across rural America, with a prayer modeled after John Knox’s cry in the 1500’s for the salvation of Scotland: “Lord, give us rural America, or we die.”

 

Q: When and where do you meet?

A: We gather every Sunday at 10:30 AM at Founder’s Hall and every Wednesday at 7:00 PM for testimony, Bible study and prayer, on the Okoboji Bible Conference grounds at 7 S.
Highway 71, Arnolds Park, IA. Our gathering are designed to be accessible, engaging, Spirit-led, and relevant.

Q: Who is leading Life360-Okoboji?

A: Rev. Brian M. Kelly along with his wife, Dr. Heather Kelly, co-pastor the church, and we embrace a consensus style of leadership based on the leading of the Holy Spirit where

Beliefs & Practices

Q: What does Life360-Okoboji believe?

A: We uphold the core beliefs of the Christian faith, including the authority of the Bible, the Trinity, salvation through Jesus, and the calling to love and serve others. As an Assembly of God church, our ‘Four Core Beliefs’ are a special emphasis on: Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and the Second Coming of Christ. We adhere to the Statement of Fundamental Truths of that fellowship and are part of the Iowa Ministry Network of churches.

Q: What can I expect at a typical service?

A: Our gatherings typically include a time of worship and praise, an inspired and practical message from the Scripture, and time for discussion and prayer for one another following.
Come as you are—there’s no dress code or expectation.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: Absolutely! We offer children’s programs/nursery during our Sunday AM gathering. Kids are always welcome to join us.

 

Getting Involved

Q: How can I get connected?

A: We encourage you to fill out a connection form at our welcome table or contact the pastor by email or phone (cf., the links below). We also have a monthly Crockpot with the
Pastors that you are welcome to join to meet others and learn more.

Q: Are there small groups or Bible studies?

A: Yes! We have regular small group gatherings where you can study, pray, and build relationships. See the “Belong” page and our Facebook page for more details.

Q: How can I volunteer?

A: We have numerous outreach events throughout the year, from our bi-weekly Barnabas Evangelism Outreaches on alternating Saturdays to our regular community meals where we serve those in need of food and fellowship, there are many ways to serve, from greeting guests to helping with cooking or setting up. Giving

Q: How can I support Life360-Okoboji financially?

A: Gifts and tithes can be given online, by mail (P.O. Box 193, Spirit Lake, IA 51360), or during our services. Your generosity helps us reach and serve our community.

 

Outreach & Community

Q: What is Life360-Okoboji doing for the community?

A: We partner with local organizations and sponsor outreach events and a regular community meal to serve those in need. Check our events calendar for upcoming service opportunities on our Facebook page.
